The re-issuance of a passport occurs when the passport holder requires an entirely new passport. When a passport is re-issued, a new booklet with a new passport is issued to the passport holder.

NOTE: A lost passport, once found after a re-issue, the holder must immediately notify the National Immigration Service of recovery and submit passport for cancellation.
